Which would you go for? The origional iconic bike that defined an era of cafe racers in the late '60s and early '70s. The sort of bikes owned by the "rockers" in Quadrophenia. Lots of character that came with oil leaks and breakdowns, but also prestige and pride of ownership. Or the "modern classic" retro? Comes with all the reliability and ruggedness of a modern motorcycle, but somehow (despite the fact it looks very similar) lacks the character and rider/machine bond the origional created?
So Origional or modern replica?
At least both are British designed and built!

I filled my car up today and like I have often done my 7 year old went in to pay, I also did this as a child for my parents. My child came back to the car with the money and said the lady won't let me pay. I questioned this and she said it is against the law. When I asked her why she said it may put her at risk, I asked her how and she compared it to selling her ciggarettes. I told her it was no different to paying for a pink of milk which i had picked up. I can't find anything on the net that say's it is illigel other than a under 16 filling a car or container, can someone help me with this please..:o)

I made the mistake when I first started driving of driving into the corporate office driveway ( a circular drive). I realized my mistake too late to back out, so I had to continue on around the circular drive. In so doing my rear wheels infringed upon a small portion of real estate within the circle. I was severely chastised, despite my apology and explanation, but they considered it serious enough to report the incident as a preventable accident to DAC. I subsequently had 2 other minor accidents (new driver) which were just stupid rookie mistakes. Most companies will accept 2 accidents but not 3 when considering a person for rehire, My driving career is effectively over because of the first (accident) I had. Surely there is a way to appeal to DAC and get an incident removed of such a small nature so that I can resume my driving career. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

My check engine light in my Hyundai went on today, and upon investigation by my stepfather, he told me that the lights are fixed to go off every 36,000 miles. Well, my car is a little over 36,000 miles and irregardless, I'm bringing it to the dealership to get checked out. The oil and transmission fluids are fine, the filters are new, the battery is new.
So what's the deal? Is it truly fixed or does it show that something really is wrong with the car?

I dont get it. Say you owe $8,000.00 on a car and its only worth $4,000.00 and you want to trade in and get a $20,000.00 car. Does your loan now become a $28,000.00 loan or a $16,000.00 loan? If so, why? What is the purpose of a trade in if you don't really get credit for it? This is something I have never really understood.

I need to know how to change the brakes on a 2002 Chevy S10 Pick up. It is 2wd with the Vortek V6. The only bad brake is the front right. I need to change this, as to not pay way too much for the service. The mechanic at LaRiche Chevrolet here in Findlay, OH is going to charge me 220 to get it done. That is way over my budget, how can anyone afford this measily service? Please help me, Im so broke, and need to get it done soon so nothing else starts to wear. Also, Im a novice, so step by step detail would be much appreciated. Any advice as well would be appreciaredas well. Like, What is the going rate to change the brake.? Thank you.
