I made the mistake when I first started driving of driving into the corporate office driveway ( a circular drive). I realized my mistake too late to back out, so I had to continue on around the circular drive. In so doing my rear wheels infringed upon a small portion of real estate within the circle. I was severely chastised, despite my apology and explanation, but they considered it serious enough to report the incident as a preventable accident to DAC. I subsequently had 2 other minor accidents (new driver) which were just stupid rookie mistakes. Most companies will accept 2 accidents but not 3 when considering a person for rehire, My driving career is effectively over because of the first (accident) I had. Surely there is a way to appeal to DAC and get an incident removed of such a small nature so that I can resume my driving career. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes negative items on your DAC report can be appealed. If you can get the company that placed the information on your report to remove it, that would be the easier way to go. If not ,you can file an appeal with USIS/DAC. They will then contact your ex employer for verification. You also have the right to place a statement on your report explaining your side of the story.
