Does anyone know how to find if there is a recall on a car? The Jeep website wants my VIN number and my car is elsewhere. Thanks

As far as I know, the ONLY way to be accurate on what recalls are on your vehicle, is to use the VIN number. You can find all the recalls for your model vehicle on these other websites, but they may or may not apply to your particular vehicle. I work at a Chrysler dealership, and we do not charge to find out what recalls you have.
