Advice. Bend over and kiss your wallet goodbye. Try to get as many estimates as possible. If you're lucky, you may find a friend that happens to be a mechanic who is willing to replace the shaft for less than half what a franchise garage will charge you.

What are you having problems with????? I know camshaft but hello are you trying to intall it???

In any case your cam is giving problems, the only option is to replace it, you have no other choice.
