I use the one that came in my suburban....when I dont want people to see what I have in the back of my truck or if i'm trying to keep direct sun off of stuff in the back it works.
in short its definetely worth it

If you make it a habit of carrying cargo in your SUV that you don't want seen in a parking lot, then yes they are worth it.
However, to just have one for ducs, they tend to be too much trouble.

they are real good, when my wife keeps her purse in the car, she puts it under there and also, it keeps things cool under there. Its also easier like if your going somewhere and you need an umbrella or somethin, you kids have access to it faster. I would buy it because you may need it sometime and regret you didnt get it.

well in the long run no, it wont last its spring loaded mechcanism goes out on it ur in trouble and they tare easy w/ kids or pets
