They had to have been around 16' tall. There were a huge number of them, and it might have been a unit train. They were loaded two to a flat car.

The local news in my hometown, paints a picture that nearly every accident involves DWII. Where as the Oregon Drivers Manual (pg.32) states in bold letters: "....that the number ONE cause of accidents is vehicles following too close together."

So who is right? Or is it just more "sexy" to report in the media that accidents where caused by one or more of the drivers boozing?

Hi,
I was recently in an accident in which I was mostly at fault. I claimed to my insurance company and they raised the premium from this cycle. If I change to another insurance company, will they check my past driving record with my previous insurance company?

It's my girlfriend's 2002 Ford Focus. As I mentioned, popped the 4 lug nuts off but I can't get the damn thing to release. Have tried WD-40, kicking, and even tried putting nuts partially on and driving it a bit to loosen. No luck...Any suggestions?

this is a birthday present for my husband. He had was an original owner but we had to sell it 22 years ago to pay for his hospital bill. I just know that he would love to restore this car. I just can't find one that is not already restored and $20,000. We live in Illinois but I don't mind driving a few hundred miles to get it but it does need to run.

I have these two great older car's, I can only put money into one of them for now, both have a 305 engine, both are automatic's, both have posi-rearend's and dual exhaust, both are dent and rust free. Which one of these car's would all of you rather see rumbling down the street or roaring down the open highway, tell me what you all think, I appreciate all responses and comment's, would it help to know I'm 50 year's old and love these older car's.

Does anybody know of any company that makes a suspension lift, preferably 6" for a 2004 Dodge Ram 2WD 2500? I have tried all the major brands and they only have it for the 1500. And a body lift is not an option. Thanks

Ok so I got in a car accident today. I was driving, and a lady took a red light and t boned me (hit me from the side). She ran the red light about 5 seconds after it turned red.....but she denied it. She told the cop that I ran the yellow and that the stop light changes too quickly. There was also two cars behind me that crashed because of braking to avoid the accident. The cop asked all of us and 3 of us said that my light was green. She decided that it was conflicting stories, therefore nobody gets any ticket. I was mad cause I get stuck with my insurance dealing with it when it should of been the lady.....btw she has a mercedes and i a corolla...and im 19 and she was in her late 30's. she lied to the cop and now im screwed....and the cop did not write the other two people as witnesses on the police report after i asked her to. can i take this to court? if so, can these two ppl be witnesses even though they are not on the police report??? what do you think? thanks for your help!

we did not exchange info and did not call police. When I took my car in about 2 months later, my tie rod was bent. Now I have noticed paint flaking off the front. Is it too late to turn it in to my insurance? For the tie rod and the paint job? No idea who the lady was at this point.
