I have these two great older car's, I can only put money into one of them for now, both have a 305 engine, both are automatic's, both have posi-rearend's and dual exhaust, both are dent and rust free. Which one of these car's would all of you rather see rumbling down the street or roaring down the open highway, tell me what you all think, I appreciate all responses and comment's, would it help to know I'm 50 year's old and love these older car's.

I dont care for the body style of the Firebird. I also don't like the Grand Prix at all. I perfer the Firebird that would be cool to have sounding rude. But, If I had the access to a 1970 455 H.O. I would grab a hold of that.

I can't believe you have to ask! Firebird! Firebird! Firebird! It's a much more popular, and better car to renovate. Sell the Grand Prix and use the money for more updates to the Firebird!

I enjoyed the unique Firebird. yet I even have owned a 1937 4door that had a appropriate physique yet no engine. A 1950 Torpedo back which regarded cool yet ran undesirable. A 1987 Bonneville which became into spectacular effectual (meant to be 150hp, besides the fact that it ought to have been better than 3 hundred i think of). and 2 Sunfire convertibles that have been the terrific autos I even have ever owned.

I like the Firebird for many reasons. The GrandPrix has a smaller following and will not likely retain the same value as the Firebird. Just my opinion.

Well we both have different ideas as to what is an older car. I am also in my fifties, and I would say an older car (classic) is like in the fifties, sixties, or seventies at most. BUT eighties or newer I would say is NOT an older car. BUT Both cars you mention are nice cars. I think it might even come to a flip of a coin. But I myself would lean towards the Grand Prix.

It is always wise to invest your time and money in the vehicle that will be more valuable at the end of the day and in this case you should concentrate on the Firebird.
