I have rust already on top and sides of my bumper, this truck is only 4months old, tried to get it fixed under 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty, dodge does not want to fix it. I see it's all about money with these big corporations, customer service is no longer important I guess, give them 36000 bucks and they say, to hell with you. Chrysler, kenny Lay, all the same I guess, white collar thiefs, all of them!!! Why can they get away with it and we have no course action to defend? I'm sick of the rich and powerful.

any advise is helpful.. or if you live in the Madison WI area and want to do it for me (or for cheap) let me know : )

I'm interested in the traditional asian sailing boats called 'junks'.

Here are a few photo links of various junks which can be found by searching "sailing junk" on the Flickr website:

I would like to find the typical cruising speed of these type of sail boats, or the approximate speed range that these sailing junks can travel.

I'm trading in my 2000 Ponitac Grand Am, the dealer wants to give me $1500, but Kelly Blue Book says it's wortg $3700. Should he give me more? There's next to nothing wrong with the car, even in poor condition it would be worth more than $1500.

We are taking a vacation to the West to see Yellowstone National Park and the grand Canyon and places around there. Where we live it would take three days of driving. My mom desperately wants to go and so does everyone else, but she refuses to fly. She says she is scared to fly. I have already tried telling her that flying is safer than drivng but it doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to change her mind? This could be a nice long vacation but everyone else doesn;t want to spend six days of driving out of the two weeks we have. Thank you for any suggestions.

Lower grade for small 4 cylinder cars, regular grade for sedans or 6 cylinder cars and high grade for bigger cars/trucks with 8 cylinders. Someone told me this and I can't tell if he was joking because I don't know anything about cars. I have a Toyota Corolla and he said I was damaging it by using high grade gas. Is he right?

When you turn our Nissan on, the brake light and battery lights come on, at the same time. When the brake light and battery light is on, there is also a ticking sound. However, when you accelrate, the brake light and battery light goes off. A mouth ago, the alternator was broken. It was replaced, and there was no problem. The battery has also been tested and brake pads have been changed. What's wrong?

I've checked the four fuses under the seat, they don't appear to be burned out. What else, where else should I check. It's a digital readout on the mileage, and it looks like the speedometer cable does not disconnect from the back of the guage. Could this mean the whole unit is bad? If so, why would that affect the turn signal's ability to cancel automatically?

Family of 5 w/ 3 growing boys / 1 W/ car seat
Hyundai Sonata , Grand Marque
Sonata 46,000 miles 2004
Marque 12,000 2003
Both excellent condition.
We do 1 1/2 - 2 hour drives at least once a month being a very active family .
The Sonata is neat looking but the room is questionable
Marque Beautiful but very large
Big debate w/ my husband and I .
He wants the Sonata and I the other.
It makes more sense to me
Input would be great.

My parked car door was hit by a man in a truck cutting through the lot in order to get to a street. He contends the door was thrown open, I'm fairly certain the door was open the whole time as I was loading my children. The only undisputable facts are that I was parked, loading kids, he passed by (too closely?) and hit my door. Any similar incidents/knowledege of?

I have a BMW 530 Stick Shift.
From a standstill. If I pop the clutch and floor it, the car jerks.
I don't know whether to release the clutch more slowly or to step on the gas more slowly or both.

Example: Rev to x rpms before releasing clutch?
Pop clutch or just release clutch quickly?
Pedal to the floor or not?
