my youngest son bought himself a car almost 2 months ago...and
the sales tax was due after 30 day's..Well needless to say one thing led to another and cannot pay sales tax...Is there any way he can get an extention??? Because he cannot get the car tagged or anything untill that sales tax is paid. OH1 before you say Mom help him????????????? I did, till I myself am scraping change.
I just dont want him to lose his car and dont want him in any trouble..Anyone know of a solution???to buy some time...?????

I am just curious because it would be funny to see. It would be like watching a 1940's racing car film. I imagine some junkyards derbied newer cars because they get the impounded, and insurance wrecks.

The fuel consumption is about 2 times (or even more) more then it should be. Sometimes the car is going ok for a while, but most of the time it shuts down the engine when pushing the gear-pedal. Or when going 80km/h, i've to put it in 3rd gear in stead of 5, otherwise the engine shuts down.
When the engine IS going ok for a while, there's no influence by cold or heat. Sometimes he's doing ok when hot, sometimes when cold.
It shifts: then for a while the engine seems to do ok, then for a (longer) while the engine stalls/shuts down when holding the gear-pedal.
The fuel can be smelled inside the car, that doesn't seem to be right.

Can these 3 symptons be pointing to the same problem? If so, which problem?

I turn on my radio and mostly get static. Every now and then it will let me tune into a my station but mostly not. It only tunes into a few stations. Then just out of the blue it will will tune in perfectly. I'll be driving down the road and bam! It stops working. Please any advice you have I could use any. I've tried screwing with the antena and nothing seems to help

Hey what's wrong with my car? When I push the gas quickly, the engine will almost stall out then back-fire. When I am accelerating, it will become unsmooth (jerky). It idles fine and it starts up fine.

I am getting ready to purchase my first crotchrocket and I would like to know people's advice and opinions on what they believe is an appropriate sized crotchrocket. I still consider myself a novice rider, although I was tought how to ride on 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa and can ride decently. Please let me know what you think. I have a 2001 Hyundai Xg300L at around 65,000 miles on it, it's a good car and no problems with it until now but im not sure what it is. One day i was driving above 50mph. the car was driving normal when all of sudden it "jumped" and i saw that the gears automatically shifted from 5th to 3rd gear when I switched to the "shift-tronic" and the engine light turned also. When i pressed on the gas it just reved loud but did not get out of 3rd gear. I had to pull over and put it in neutral and I even tried to manually shift from the "shift-tronic" but it was just stuck in third no matter what. I had to turn it off and the car/transmission was back to normal starting from 1st when I turned it on again. But now my engine light is still on and it jumped from 5th to 3rd again about a week later. It looks like the problem is going to get worse if I don't do something about it. Sounds to me like a computer thing or something connected to the transmission, but im not sure. Do you know? Thank you
