You are all so dumb...gas pipes for lordie's sake....
the highways commision would never bother telling us that.
No, the bright orange tops simpy mean that on these roads you are allowed to overtake and undercut, force off the road, be as rude to as you like any one with ginger hair

They mark pipelines for gas and oil. The orange marker which is best seen from above is used by helicopters for checking the pipelines.

They are the markers for underground gas, electrical, telephone and water pipes - usually found where fields meet roads.

Those are markers indicating underground pipes and wires. Those are needed for construction workers so they don't break anything when they dig and for the utility company's to locate their wires and pipes quickly.
