oh i know this one!!! your door is attached with a few screws you can see but also about a dozen christmas tree clips (bumble bee clips) you just gotta pull on one corner of the door to get it off and then work your way around. the clips will stay in the door but detatch from the pannel. after the door is off yank the clips out of the door with plyers... you wont brake them trust me, and put them back on the pannel. then you just push the pannel back on with the clips going through the holes. oh dont forget to put in you speaker hehe. email me if ya got Q???

A friend and I just did this on a late model Chevy Blazer. First, there were 2 screws hidden on either side of the door panel arm rest ( a nut driver or small socket w/extension will work ) also, there was 1 "allen head" screw just behind the door handel/opener lever. Then, there was 1 round slightly protuded "button" ( same color as interior ) near the front of the panel ( for lack of a better term). It pops off, and out, with ease. Then, take a regular size flat head screw driver, other flat ended tools would work ( like a butter knife or pocter knife ), start at the bottom and go around the bottom of the door panel slightly 'snapping' the panel off with the straight screw driver and 'snap' the panel free from the door. Then, lift the door panel away from, then UP and out of the door where the window and the door panel meet. You will gain access to the speaker at that point. It will have appx. 4 screws around the speaker. Measure and remove the speaker(s) and replace with a higher output speaker. Replace the door panel in the reverse manner you removed it.

Also a side note to the great answers above, which are correct. on my friends truck same year and everything, we put in new speakers and had to drill new holes for the screws, its not anything major and is quite easy to drill through. Just thought i would let you know that.
