I own a 2000 Altima and have a problem where the AC starts working then stops and starts working and so on. This cycle continues everytime i drive. Any suggestions ???

Ok I have a 86 mustang with 5.0, 5 speed stick, gutted H pipe, flow masters and, K&N air filter. This other guy has a 78 camoro with a 350 automatic. Its stock. I think I will kick his asss. Funny thing is this guy is my sons step dad. He just bought this car and he told my son his car is faster. So now we want to race. So who do think will win? Aslo should I race him or not?

Got two problems
first is that when in the water reguardless how much I rev it up it moves slowly or not at all

second is that after 7000 rpms it misses..

Will you continue to purchase Fords that are assmbled in Mexico and consider it driving an American car even though only 30% of the parts put into the vehicle are American? Who is making all the money? Certainly not the American auto worker that carried this country on their backs for sa many years. Look at the stickers America before you buy a car. Might suprise some of you that boycotted France to find out the trans in you luxury SUV is French.

It smells like mildew when I turn on the vents. Stronger when I first turn it on. My mechanic suggested that I spray auto febreeze under the hood near the windshield where the air sucks in with the air conditioning pumping on high. Is this a good idea?

Would like to know how to dismantle the dashboard in a 2000 GMC Safari van to get access to dislodge the stuck door in the air conditioning ducts. The air conditioning only blows through the defroster vent, and no other vents in the van.

I have the opportunity to buy a 21 year old vintage, almost, Olds Calais coupe for $3,500.00. It only has 24k miles on it because a little old lady (seriously) didn't drive it much in 21 years. The radio/tape deck doesn't work, and it has the original tires. It also has a 6 cyl engine, so not sure of the gas mileage yet. I love older cars, and this one is real cute, but I don't want to make a mistake! I checked it out at www.kellybluebook.com, and top asking price is $2,000.00. Is it a good deal, or too much money? It is one of a kind.

ok, you have a 500 hp engine with 450 ft lbs of torque. Could you tow a boat with your porsche or ferrari. I know there would have to be some rigging done but is it theoretically possible, you have the power?

My younger brother was rear ended at an entrance to a parking lot. Before turning into the parking lot a man hit him from behind, so they both pulled into the parking lot to check out the damages. My brother only took the man's first name and phone number. He called the man for his insurance policy and the man does not want to give the policy number to my brother. He wants to pay for the damages out of pocket. Yes, my brother did agree to this at first, but his a new driver and was probaly nervous about the accident at first. Any advice please...

I've got a Cadillac deville from the 80's and I'm trying to find 4 cool hub caps that will fit it. I don't even know how big the hub caps should be. Can anyone tell me how big they probably should be, how I can get them for pretty cheap, and how I might be able to get some that have pink on them.
