I own a 2000 Altima and have a problem where the AC starts working then stops and starts working and so on. This cycle continues everytime i drive. Any suggestions ???

It has to do with climate control. The temperature knob is set to a point. When it's that cold, the a/c shuts off until it gets warm again. If that's not it look for loose wires or a bad switch.

ya takeit to the shop better yet by a Chrysler or a Dodge the only way to go It may be low on refrigerant R134A if compressor kicks on and off. I would have it checked. Sorry my husband and I are Mopar nuts. They sell R134A at Wal-mart and u could put it in yourself if it needs it.
