while trying to accelerate faster by pushing gas paddle bettery and brake lights flicker ? If it is fuse then where is the fuse box in 1997 sentra ?

alternator brushes worn out best bet is a reman alternator, although some alts. brushes are very easy to replace.

You could also check a bad connection. Or the fuse. The fuse is often (for brake lights) are often all the way top the left in the fuse box. Good luck.

Sounds like your alternator is not working properly. Is the belt slipping? Also could be that the alternator is not putting out enough power. Do a load test on it.
