Hi, what is a car suspension? What does it do? How can you tell whether it is a good/bad suspension?

A vehicle's "suspension" is a system whereby the the jounces and shocks of driving over a road surface are not transmitted to the driver.

Imagine a suspension as a cushion. Road shocks are "taken care of" by this system.

Without getting too technical, suffice it to say that good suspension does not bounce your *** out of the car, or loosen your fillings, when you hit a bump in the road.

"BAD" suspension will do just that.

Oh! and BTW: have your vehicle inspected by a qualified professional

I think suspension is the amount your axil will bend. (Example: driving offroad & one tire is up on a rock & the other is not) I could be totally off though.

*****NEVERMIND! What I was discribing was articulation, sorry! The answer above mine is right though!

It's what makes a car bounce when a fat person gets in, and what stops you landing hard if you get airtime.
