During the day, radio reception in my car is great but at night, it's horrible. It seems like all the English stations got taken over by Mexican stations cause all I hear is mariachi music. The stuff I want to hear are barely audible in the background.

This is rural area, btw.

Recently...i couldn't turn on my car, a 1995, 1.8 liter Eagle Summit...made by Chrysler...it would try to turn on, but nothing would happen..then when it did and I put it on Drive, it would turn off. Took it to a mechanic who said it was the distributor and put in a new one and when I took it out...it was okay for a while and when I was at a red light...it would idle down, but not die....turned off the car and when I came back and started it, put it on DRIVE and it turned off...it's back with the mechanic but can anyone help me...thanks.

How can I remove the nut when it is almost perfectly round? It is difficult to get at and I have already used wd-40. Is there maybe a tool that mechanics use to remove stripped nuts?

I own a 1989 Saab Turbo and the owner's manual says to have it changed every 7,500 miles; however, most suggest either every 3,000 or 5,000 miles. I realize that Jiffy Lube, etc. recommend every 3,000 miles (it used to be every 5,000 miles in the not too distant past) to increase business, but at the same time the car is 17 years old and in great shape - I don't want to play around with it. Any ideas?

It was the other person's fault, but now the insurance from the other guy says they will only pay 85% of the damage because we didnt file a police report and we have conflicting stories. Its kind of odd, you would think they would pay all or none. what you guys think?

My car is going to die before I ever sell it, and I'm an art student, so I figured it would be fun to stencil a design on my hood. I'm not going to paint the whole car, just a small portion. Could I use spray paint meant for metal you get at home depot? Or would that instantly peel and chip? I know this has to be possible.

I have signed a car contract with 1k non-refundable partial payment because the dealership has to located the car. We had an oral agreement that the car shouldn't exceed certain miles. When they call to tell me they located the car for me, they refuse to tell me how many miles on the car. At that point, I told them we had an agreement. The sales manager keep pressuring me to take the car, he was rude and unprofessional. At that point, I told him that I don't want the car anymore. I want to cancle the deal. We were arguing about the deposit. The next thing I know, he slammed the phone on me. I am not able to talk to anyone else at that dealership other than the rude sales manager. So, I called my credit card company and dispute the charge. At this point, I just want to know if anyone has any idea about the chances that I will get my money back from my credit card. I am planning on buying a 06 or 07 Toyota Camry during the Labor Day sale, I have a credit score above 700, if i put down payment of $3000, would I be able to get 0% APR with financing for 48 months? Is it better to finance with Toyota or credit unions? would i be able to get the promotion at any toyota dealer? Is there any more detail should be concern of? I have a 1995 750 Gixxxer that is running marvelously with one exception...it overheats while riding in the city (i.e. stop and go). While it get's to the "H", it always goes down once I start riding again. I brought it to my local cycle shop and they were puzzled. I found the radiator reserve(under the left rear fender), but how do I get to the radiator to check the fluids and maybe drain and flush?
