The car's previous owner stuck the nose under a guard rail. There's a bit of play up and down. A bra seems to hold it together pretty well though I'd like to repair it myself. How do I locate the bolts holding the nose of the car to the frame and is it an extensive job?

I sometimes wonder that, while sitting in the fast lane (left hand lane), stuck in traffic while other lanes are moving past.

I feel it's because people in the left lane are waiting to long to make there way to the exit, and end up stopping traffic looking for an opportunity in the next lane, but I don't know if that is true.

runs ok when battery fully charged, but had a voltmeter on the battery and when ticking over its making about 14 ish volts, if i rev it the volts drop to around 13 volts, now, if i put the lights on the volts drop to a critical level, if revved its ok but on tick over with lights on it will drop so much that it cuts out. Changed the battery, reg/rec, plugs and coils, dont know where to look next, also the reg/rec and wiring that plugs into it gets very hot, is this supposed to happen? could there be a short somewhere? help!!!

I used to regularly use fuel system cleaner (applied to the gas tank). Recently I have been having severe emissions issues. I have isolated this problem to the catalyic converter. I then started reading up on the converter in my shop manual. It indicated that using fuel system cleaners will have an "detrimental effect" on the catalic convertor. Is there any truth to this? Has anybody else expirenced this problem?

I got some really disapointing answers the first time, I'm trying it one more time.
The car has 54000 original miles and in great shape, it has a new battery, it started one time after I shifted the handle from park to drive and back a couple of times, I thought it was the neutral safety switch but that seems to be ok , it was running perfectly when it was shut off, it doesn’t seem to be sending any power to the starter, I have tried to start it in neutral, and all of the electrical components inside work (dome light, stereo, ventilation fan), the car does not have an anti theft device that I know of and there is no flashing anti theft light in the dash.
Yes the car is old, but I believe in taking care of cars and getting the most use out of them as you can, I think its ridiculous to buy a new car just because your old one has a small problem.
Thank you to those of you who give an honest effort to help!
If some of this sounds odd, you should read the answers I got the first time.

There seems to be more and more negative press and propaganda about motorcycles. Do you think it is about time bikers take more intrest in their neighbors and non motorcycling public. After all respect is mutual and many people feel that "Loud Pipes Violate Rights".

Who should be expected to wear ear plugs in their own back yard or head phones to watch TV?

The loud pipes save lives is not at all factual. After all when a bike pulls up to a intersection or to vehicle, it is not heard untill it is past and driving away.

There have been many new laws passed throughout the country regarding motorcycle noise and the AMA is spending valuable resorces defending the privilage to ride. Remember operating a motorvehicle is not a right but a licensed privliage.

Check out this video...there is more and more anti motorcycle propaganda every day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt-ytACeVM0&search=motorcycle=
