How do I change the trim fluid on a 1992 Yahama boat motor?

Put the motor all the way down and remove the fluid from the reservoir with a hand pump or a shop vac.
Fill back up with proper fluid-transmission fluid or trim pump fluid.
If fluid is white or foamy look for a leak before changing.
