I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage with a 1.8L SOHC. As a Honda fanatic I'm not real familiar with motor swaps for Mitsubishis and I was wondering which engine I could replace the stock motor with that would provide me with more power and power gain opportunities? I've asked many other places and they all seem can't to give me an answer. Thanks.

1995 OLds Aurora. Only 1 side of the car has working vents in the front. The passenger side vents blow fine, and the rear vents work, but not the front drivers side. Any input / suggestions as to where to start. Can it be repaired by a regular old joe with some mechanical knowledge and no special tools, or is this a repair best left to the pros?

I recently noticed a variable whining sound from my Chevy Cavalier (2000 model). The whining soon stopped (after hearing it on just 2 short trips out locally), and then so did my air conditioning. Is it likely that my compressor bearings have failed so I'm no longer turning the compressor? Can anone tell me how big a job this might be and estimate a repair cost at a service station. Or suggest what else might be the problem...
Thanks

When I changed my battery, the digital voltometer now has (???) , the inside lights don't work, and the a/c compressor doesn't turn on when i turn on the the a/c. Since I took off the battery, I figure it has to do something with the computer. I checked all three fuse boxes and everything seems to be fine with the fuses.

Did the crash include young street racers? Was it your fault or was it the other person's fault? How savere was the crash? Did anyone die? What were the cars that were in the crash? I have never been in a car crash but my brother has once and my dad like 3 times but every time it was some stupid driver not looking straight and when they see the red light they slam on the breaks but not enough so then they hit the back of my dads car and amazingly all his crashes were into the back of the car and it wasn't my dads fault in any and when my brother got hit on the side it wasn't his fault cause they were speeding. Speeding is so stupid I hate it when people do that just go really fast. This is a message to all drivers with the need for speed if your gonna go fast or race do it on the highway not somewhere where people walk around. So have you ever been in a crash?

I love to drive fast late at night when the roads are basically empty but all I have to drive is my parent's car. I want to my first car to be something sporty.....something with speed that I can feel in control of (Stick shift). I love all of the Fast and Furious movies and the Tokyo Drift movie didn't help my obsession any. The thing is.....I don't know how to drive a stick shift. I hear that those kind of cars are actually cheaper to purchase as well. Where can I find out how to drive a manual transmission and If possible can any one give me a detailed description of how to do so? Thanks alot...

If your car has very little brake fluid, can you just top it up yourself, or should it be left to the professionals?

We have a 1998 Chevy S10 which needs to have the clutch adjusted. I refuse to take it to any of the local mechanics because it is impossible to find anyone honest and we don't have much money.

Can anyone explain how to do this or point me in the direction of a good internet resource?
