Assuming that you have an ordinary car and not either an SUV, minivan or a wee tiny import...and also assuming you can deal with the police getting *on* you for "excessive acceleration," there are at least two ways to do it.
--the old school way just involves owning a muscle-car with a big honking V-8 (measured in cubic inches) with an automatic tranny (as in transmission folks). Just put the thing in "L" or low gear and floor it.
--the slightly newer way can be done with cars that have smaller and *turbocharged* engines. Turbochargers are driven by car exhaust, you see, meaning you can rev the engine in place, pump up the exhaust, "spool up" the turbo and get a head-start on getting full boost. Doing this with a turbocharged engine is called "brake torquing" and yes, it can only be properly done with an automatic transmission. :) With turbo-four and -six cylinder engines and automatics, the idea is to keep the thing in "drive" or "neutral" if need be (some transmissions try to trick you out of this), build some revs at a stop with your foot on the brakes, and when you get to move again, let off the brakes and *smoothly* floor it for full-boost at a lower rpm than normal. :D
Have fun. ;) Try not to get busted too many times though, excessive acceleration is a traffic offense, and a minor menace to society....*lol*....

Put it in gear, press down hard on the brake with your left foot and give it the gas. Pop the brake by taking your left foot off the pedal. You should shoot forward and peal rubber.

Kid,
Save your money for the prom or something instead of wasting it on new tires, brakes and tickets/fines from nosy cops, Also, don't chance hurting yourself or someone else in the process of trying to look cool; you're not a NASCAR driver or anything.
