The current Ford Focus sold in Europe is assembled in Saarlouis in Germany, Valencia in Spain and Leningrad in Russia.

The Ford Focus for North America (a facelift of the first-generation Focus, not the newer model sold in Europe) is assembled in Wayne, Michigan, USA and Hermosillo, Mexico.

The Mondeo is assembled in Genk in Belgium.

The Focus is made around the world.

Mondeo is not available in the US.

If you check the Ford worldwide website, you can see where the different models are available.

The Newer European Focus is the same as the smaller Volvo.
