I HAVE A 97 BUICK LESABRE.MY CAR CUT OFF ON THE FREEWAY. I HIT THE GAS A LITTLE IT GOT TO ABOUT 85. IT PICKED UP SPEED BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON.THE ENGINE LIGHT KEPT BLINKING ON AND OFF,THEN THE CAR START LOSING POWER AND CUT OFF ON ME WHILE I WAS ON THE FREEWAY.I TRIED TO START THE CAR IT JUST MADE A CLICKING NOISE. THE LIGHT COMES ON .I BOUGHT A NEW STARTER IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING.CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP BECAUSE I HAVE THREE KIDS AND THATS MY ONLY TRANSPORTATION.

I drive a 1997 Ford Ranger, 3.0, feul injeced. lately he engine has been skipping quie badly, as if it is not firing on all cylinders. Also, the truck has terrible gas milage and no power. Ihave recently changed the plugs and plug wires. Any thoughts on what is wrong?

Today, 6/27/06, in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas area, there were 5 reported 18 wheelers in accidents and one death. All were speeding. One went almost off a bridge, one was turned over in making a turn (USP Truck) another one or two had the same problem and one lost control by speeding and lost his life.

Here is mine: 1988 Olds 98. Began running rough, changed ox sensor, changed mass flow sensor, finally took it to a GM dealer. Mr. Goodwrench, laughed walked to the rear door cigarette lighter and pulled out a penny my 3 year old son had drop into the empty lighter slot. Car ran great after that. Truth is better than fiction.
