I want to sell my car privately. I think there is a problem with the radiator - seems to overheat when sitting in traffic and there was a leak. Is it better for me to just sell it cheap as is, or to get this fixed and fully serviced before selling? Will this really add a lot more onto the sale price if I do so? (Its a vauxhall tigra). Can anyone help please!

I know quite a bit about car audio and cars in general, but having a problem with my amp. I have a Sony 1200W amp with two 10-inch subs which are currently bridged (formerly paralleled) with an Alpine head unit.

The head unit enables me to control the amount of bass, but regardless of the settings, the bass cuts out of power quite quickly.

I know it is not the amp, I have tested two. I know it is not the head unit, since I have tested the amp on another car. More than likely it the problem lies with the wire.

Yes, I do not have a capacitor, but I am running a new alternator and an Optima Red Cell Battery.

This question only goes out to very experienced car audio people out there. I am wondering if the problem lies with either the wire connections or the setting on the Amp/head unit. I've been playing around with it for a while, and still its annoying me.

It smelled fine the whole way from Virginia, but as soon as we got to Laughlin it started to stink, and has ever since. My wifes car did the same thing.

I'm wanting to compare the distance/time of two different driving routes from the same location to the same destination. When I use Mapquest, Yahoo!Maps, MapsOnUs, etc, it gives me a route and I can get the time/distance of what it gives me... but I want to compare the time/distance given to the time/distance of a different route I already know.
It's not a really close destination, so I don't really want to drive the two routes myself to compare them...
Does anybody have any suggestions for websites that will do this for me, or software I can get relatively cheaply?

I posted a question about a month ago regarding my car stereo not working after the alternator was replaced. I got a comment from another yahoo user as follows:

"That's not what the problem is. If it worked BEFORE the alternator and now it doesn't work...then its because it locked up when they disconnected the battery... its an anti-theft thing and you have to have the code to get it back on."

How would I go about finding the code and putting it in when the stereo doesn't even turn on? I'd appreciate any help with this.

I believe it would be possible to manufacture a type of pavement that does not absorbe and magnify tempretures from the sun, if you have ever noticed that pavement retains the heat from the sun even at night, this changes the surounding tempretures, and is in my opioion one part of global warming problem, am i correct?
