Grendle, you got it completely wrong. Sidecars are far more stable than solo motorcycle but, you have to learn to ride them. You can also get 20%+ insurance discount for permanently fitted sidecar. I guess you never see Isle of Man TT races? Sidecars are limited to 600 cc as bigger engines make tham too fast. Its one of the most fun vehicles on the road.
You will be luckyy to get any change from $45,000 for a complete HD outfit though

The Chang Jiang is a Chinese bike that is made with a sidecar and can be had for little to nothing in China ..or you can pay a lot for the more Custon models ..say from Danny Woody in Shanghai. These bikes are built by a factory in Nnchang but are also built by builders such as Gerald of Long River Motors in Beijing. A website for the folks who love this bike is at www.changjiangunlimited.com and that address will lead you to a web board called changjiangExperience. The Donghai 750 is another sidecar Chinese bike but it is no longer produced. A webpage showing these bikes is www.donghaiunlimited.com No added brake lines or shoes are added to the CJ750 and it would be wise to keep a sidecar like that.

The Ural with a sidecar is $6-$7,000 American, but it has a top speed of 55 mph.
There are custom, aftermarket sidecars for most large cruisers that run in the $12-$15,000 range (without the bike).
You takes your pick, they pick your pocket, and voila, you have a sidecar.
BTW, and since you didn't ask, sidecars are inherently dangerous. They reduce the maneuverability of the bike, and they reduce the acceleration capability of the bike. The ability to go fast and light to get out of trouble is sometimes the only thing that will save a motorcyclist in traffic.
Be prepared.

Usually about $4-5 K more than the bike it's going on. This is due to the added wiring and brake lines that are contained in the sidecar.

It varies. The sidecar is extra, so you might pay $6,000 for a Russian bike with side car, or you might pay forty thousand for a GoldWing with fancy sidecar.

Stick with your little tricycle, and make sure you always wear your helmet!

Just get yourself a new little bell for your handlebars

Cling cling look out here comes little Danny Jr.

I bet you look cute, dressed up pretending to be a little cowboy, on your tricycle!

Don't you listen to the neighbors, they don't know what they are saying when they say "Look at that poor little retarded boy, dressed up like a cowboy, and riding his tricycle."
