Did the crash include young street racers? Was it your fault or was it the other person's fault? How savere was the crash? Did anyone die? What were the cars that were in the crash? I have never been in a car crash but my brother has once and my dad like 3 times but every time it was some stupid driver not looking straight and when they see the red light they slam on the breaks but not enough so then they hit the back of my dads car and amazingly all his crashes were into the back of the car and it wasn't my dads fault in any and when my brother got hit on the side it wasn't his fault cause they were speeding. Speeding is so stupid I hate it when people do that just go really fast. This is a message to all drivers with the need for speed if your gonna go fast or race do it on the highway not somewhere where people walk around. So have you ever been in a crash?

Yes, I nearly died in a wreck afew years ago. I was a backseat passinger in a jeep wagoneer. The guy driving was showing off and driving too fast when the road made a left turn, and he could not react quick anough. We left the roadway going 80mph when we were abruptly brought to a stop by hitting into a tree at 80mph. The force from the impact was so great that the solid steel front bumper snapped off the car, and compleatly wraped around the tree. The car crumpled like an old tin can. The engine block was cracked compleatly in half, the front seat ended up in the engine compartment, with the back seat ending up where the front seat once was. All 4 of us survived the crash, but we all had to be cut out of the wreckage. I ended up with a fractured skull, the back of my head had a pretty good gash in it. I had a concussion, a broken left wrist, with all of the fingers on the same hand broken. I had a severe fracture of my left femur that had to be repaired with a 14 screw plate, while I needed a bone graft to repair my knee. I was in the hospital for almost two months. I still to this day am bothered by lingering pain from my injuries. I have pretty bad arthritis in my wrist and knee.

It was probably the scariest thing that ever happened to me. You never really know the feeling of not being able to tell if you were alive or dead right after the impact. It actually took me a few minutes to realize I was still alive. I was sure I was not going to survive.

After countless surgeries, and extensive rehabilitation, all that is left from the accident is the arthritis, and some pretty big scars on both my wrist, leg, and the back of my head. (but at least that one is covered by my hair) Being in that accident did teach me a lot. Now unless I am driving, I am not going! I do not ride with anyone... I will never place my life in somebody elses hands again.

A couple of students in my class at high school were racing on residential streets, blew a stop sign and killed the elderly couple who had the right-of way.

The kid driver and his passengers walked away with minor injuries--and didn't even care for the lives they'd taken. My community mourned the loss of the elderly couple for a year. They left behind adult children and young grandchildren.

I was in a near accident when someone tried to drag-race the Ferrari I was riding in on a busy inner city two-lane road. Cross traffic trying to turn into the McDonald's on our side of the strip damn near crashed into us--and we turned down the race! If the Ferrari's driver had taken the bait, we would have undoubtedly been killed.

...By the way, weren't you the poster advocating the legalization of street racing? Why are you against speeding on city streets and highways now? REALLY LOOK at both questions you've written and re-think where you stand!

I was in a single car accident about 3 yrs ago..rolled my mom's Ram 1500 about 3 months after we got it....then i was driving my truck while trailering a golf cart for the first time by myself while the road was wet, and as I was turning in to the parking lot, my brakes locked up and hit a lady's car, everyone was fine...then this past december, some punk kid that decided not to stop at a light made a 4 car pile up...with me being 2nd from front...needless to say all but the first car was totaled.

I was in a Dodge Grand Caravan and I was going through the intersection becuase I was turning right. Well, there was this man that was on the other side and he thought that when the left green arrow went off, it was green for him too, well he went into the middle of the intersection and swereved right into the side of the van. I was in the passenger seat. We were okay, but then he blamed it on us for not paying attention. Some drivers these days...
