it doesnt have a speedo cable it has a vehicle speed sensor that could be unplugged but your check engine light will come on

Its not a cable. Runs off a speed sensor on the trans. Sorry your stuck with it. Also most 90 and on cars have a back up millage sensor so that if your speedo goes out the millage can be double checked.

Look on your trasmission the will be a plug oni t maybe 2 or 3 it is what you call a speed sensor unplug it and ur speed-o won't work. IT DOEN"T HAVE A SPEEDOMETER CABLE

there isnt a speedo cable.
the speedo is driven via an electronic signal.
that same electronic signal also controls when the transmission shifts as well.

just deal with the mileage your putting on.

no, the car won't drive right with it off and just so u know odometer tampering is a felony
