My husband wanted to sell our rental property, so he called a phone number that advertises that "they buy houses", anyway he went in and got a lot of info and signed a contract to "continue the process" or so that is what he understood! What he signed was an actual contract. They are offering him next to nothing on the home and deducting the amount that it will cost them to repair the home and on top of that a realtor fee when they are the ones buying it!! I was appalled and now they are threatening to sue, what can I do??? Please help!

If I am in contract to purchase a home and I was unsuccessful in getting the financing approved based on the contingency clause to buy their home without the sale of our home. I request a release from the contract and now they want to sue. Do they have a case?

Our vehicle was repossessed. The loan company sold the vehicle
and now they say we are responsible for the balance of the loan.
Is this legal?

A pipe is frozen in one of the apartments. There is no cold water, which means no toilet flushing and obviously, no cold water to drink. We haven't been able to shower (only extemely hot water comes out) They are saying that they don't want to have to dig to find out where the problem is, since they will have to tear down the walls. They are saying that we have to wait until the weather heats up, which isn't anytime soon according to the forecast, but they offered us today, after one week, to make us move permanently to another apartment so that they don't have to fix the frozen pipe, if that is indeed the problem. Can they do this? If not, what legal action can be taken to ensure they fix the problem. I failed to mention, we are the only ones in this end of the building, so we are the only ones affected.

Where can I go to find information on when the estate market is the most lucrative?
I.e. When is the best time to purchase a home? Is there some observed month/season known by real estate agents as the most prominent, such as a, sort of, "home buying" month/season?

I understand that you save more money by making 1/2 of your monthly mortgage every two weeks. Now my question is, do you have to make this payment twice a month or every two weeks? There is a difference of a full payment each year. Obviously I'd still save more by making payments every two weeks because I'd have that extra full payment every year, but do you still save by making those 1/2 payments twice a month or do you have to do it every two weeks?
