We are considering a move from NJ to NC. What are some good family towns that I can look into. I have a 13 year old that will be going to high school in September and a 1 year old. I dont want to spend more than 150,000 for a house an my husband needs to be able to get work. He builds elevators but he can do any technician job.

Huntersville, just N of Charolette - nice new developments and good shopping/entertainment, and also close to the lakes.

Fayetteville, NC in cumberland county isn't that bad the military is located there and the government gives out contract jobs all the time. There are plenty of schools, good economy, a lot of recreational things to engage in. Hope Mills is another place to checkout also New Burn. Hope you have the best of luck in your transition to North Carolina good luck & Godspeed.
