How's everyone doing? I have invested $20,000 in a annuity account five years ago. So far it has earned over $5,000 til this date. I want to buy a house for me, my parents and my sibilings. My only problem is that I make only about $31,000 a year. My parents makes a little less than me. If we take out a mortagage, and I know is not going to work out because we all have debts. Don't know what to do? Also, I am planning a career change, I majored in Computers and now want to do acting. I need help.

Here's the case the rental payment was sent via mail, (FIRST MISTAKE I KNOW SO PLEASE NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS!!!) and obviously the landlord hasn't received it. When we went home last night the locks were changed and we weren't able to get in. Is this legal? Can he do this? What do we need to do? We have proof of the money order but it's in the house that we can't get into!! Would someone please shed some light on this situation? I've tried searching for Las Vegas, Nevada Eviction Laws but no luck. My hubby is on his way to the courthouse now. Is this the right way to go about it?

PLEASE! IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING NEGATIVE OR JUST TRYING TO GET 2 POINTS PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF FOLKS WITH 2 MUCH TIME ON THERE HAND THAT YOU CAN RESPOND TO. I am really looking for some good advice right now. Thank you!!!

I was just watching the preview channel and they had this man, John Beck, on there. He was talking about TAX SALE HOMES. There were 72,000 dollar homes they showed, being bought for 700 dollars. Is this real? Or is it a gimmic?

Quote from realtor ..."broker told me to please remind you of section 4A3 of the Residential Listing Agreement (Seller agrees to pay to Broker as compensation for services irrespective of agency relationships either 4.5% of the listing price If, without Broker’s prior written consent, the Property is withdrawn from sale, conveyed, leased, rented otherwise transferred, or made unmarketable by a voluntary act of Seller during the Listing Period, or any extension)."

Since i removed her sign from my window of my property, and told her to remove the property from any listing.

We have a mortgage with the Halifax which has a 2 year discounted rate which we took out in May 2006. If we wanted to sell our house now would we have to pay a 'fine' to the Halifax for ending the mortgage before the 2 year rate has come to an end? Thanks for your help.

Looking for a rental house and need to occasionally commute to the city but have to cut back on cost of living. Rental sites I've used are really difficult to figure this out without a whole lot of effort. Anyone have any recommended sites or just know off the top of your head where I should move to?

One of my neighbors committed suicide, with a shotgun, a couple of months later new neighbors moved in. I had never given a thought about what happened in my apartment before I lived there. I don't think the agents have to disclose that information, I didn't tell my neighbors either. I wouldn't really want to know, especially if it was a suicide or murder.

I'm thinking of buying a home and renting it out. I want to use a property management company to find potential renters and do background checks and write out leases, etc. How much does this cost? And do I only pay them when I have a renter?

I'll get a check for about $350K. I'm not sure what to do with such a big check when they hand it to me. Go to the bank? Go to a mutual fund office like Fidelity? Go to a brokerage house? Any advice on what people do when they first get huge checks, especially since banks only insure to $100,000?

When I sign the mortgage loan document, if I see the numbers or the interest rate in the document are not as promised by the loan officer, do I have the authority to refuse signing or back out? If so, will the loan officer ask me to pay for all the work they have done and the charges they paid for the appraisal and etc?

Thanks!

I have a friend that currently lives in Fla. His father died and left him his home in Virginia. He now has to pay the mortgage on the home in Virginia and his rent in florida. There is a man living in the home in virginia for free because his Sister told him that the house has to be Occupied otherwise the state can take the house away....

It sounds like a bunch of crap to me. but maybe someone elses knows the truth.

my fiance and i looked at a mobile home yesterday to possibly buy, but it's going to take awhile for us to get a mortgage, because we've got some credit problems we have to take care of first. the mobile home owner (who's family is friends with my fiance's family) said he'd consider letting us rent to own until we can get our own mortgage. (he's in a hurry to sell so he can move up north where his wife and kids are). he wants to sell it just for the ammount he owes for it. is there anything we should know before we go through with this?

I would like to move in with my boyfriend, and sublet my room for a year. The room would be a fully furnished sublet. I confronted my roommates about subletting, and initially, they were comfortable with the idea. At this time, we did not have a lease for our apartment (it was just month to month). They started communicating with me that they no longer thought my subletting was a good idea, as they wanted a more permanent tenant with their own furniture. Coincidentally, our landlords approached us with a one year lease, asking us to sign. Should I sign the lease, and then ask the landlord's permission to sublet, even though my roommates are against it? I've lived there a year longer than both of them, and chose them to live in the apartment when my old roommates moved out. Does seniority count for anything? What should I do?

Where can I find info on rental markets? For example, I'd imagine a college town might have a 50% rental market while a very rural secluded area might only be 15%. I know these figures are out there.. where can i find them? Anyone have a link?
