We live in Delaware and are looking to buy a home next Spring. I have been reading in the news that home prices are going to be going down. Is this true? Also when can we expect the prices to become reasonable again?

My sister said they would be helpful. But we're not looking to buy a house, just an apartment or maybe a townhouse. How much would it cost to have their help, and is it necessary?

We have a signed offer with seller and have done all the paperwork for mortgage loan. appraisal was just done and they say it is a loan requirement to paint the house first or loan can't proceed. Have gone to real estate agent to negotiate with seller for cost of this fix-up.

My husband just accepted a position with a company. Does anyone have ideas on preparing my home to sell fast or have any tips. We need to relocate, luckily his job his where his parents are living and he will be staying there during the week and coming home on the weekends. This leaves me preparing this home and moving so that we all can be together all the time.

I have a hard time understanding where the agent's interest is when they will essentially make more based on how much you buy. Are they looking for a house for you or for their pocket. Also do they care if you are really on a budget. They may not even want to tell you the bad points of a deal. Essentially who's interest are they representing.

I have called and looked at so many places that rent in my area, but the clincher to deciding if I want to live there is their no pet policy. Why is it if you have an outside dog, and sometimes inside, that it is okay to rent, but if you have a cat then OMG, nope. Why in the heck do they think cats are dirty? Cats use the litter box and COVER up their doings. Dogs go wherever they can in the yard or worse, the neighbor's yard. Plus some dogs bark and bother other people when they are trying to rest.
My cats are like my children and I do not want to have to give them to someone who would not treat them like they are used to being treated.

Buyers, if you are buying a home, do you prefer to see picture nails/hooks on the wall, or is it better to take 'em out and leave just a nail hole?

Sellers, which way are you going on this?
