My husband just accepted a position with a company. Does anyone have ideas on preparing my home to sell fast or have any tips. We need to relocate, luckily his job his where his parents are living and he will be staying there during the week and coming home on the weekends. This leaves me preparing this home and moving so that we all can be together all the time.

The best thing you can do is declutter and CLEAN your home spotless.....If time and money allow, paint what ever needs painting, you can do a lot with paint and its pretty inexpensive....The front of the house is so important...You must have your yard cut and trimmed, free of weeds and eye sores....Did you know painting your front door red, will sell your home faster? If you do this, make sure that red will coordinate with the rest of the outside colors of your home, but luckily red does go with a lot of exteriors! I buy and sell homes for a living and I am also an interior designer...If you have any detailed questions, please feel free to email me! Best of luck

There are really a few simple steps to have a home ready for a quick sale. 1 make sure all the bathrooms are touched up and the kitchen also ( which is what most buyer like ) its kind of subliminal. 2 make sure the house is clean and nothing that is going to stay is broken. 3 put a good price to sell. For more tips ask your local realtor.

The obvious things must be done such as a thorough cleaning. If paint is peeling, a paint job is in order. Decorations help give a good first impression. Add some plants around your house or vased silk flowers. Add a fruit centerpiece to your dining table. Candles always add ambiance. If some things such as faucets are worn out, you can buy faucets for a reasonable price and install them yourself. Now would be a good time to go through closets and discard things not worn for a long time so your closets won't look jammed. If your landscape is boring, add a few pots of flowers or some potted trees. The investment will be worth it.

get a good real estate agent to help you with what needs to be done. mostly the home needs to be clean and presentable and priced right. be realistic in the asking price. declutter every where. if you do not need it day to day, box it and put it in storage.
