I'm selling a property, but the buyer needs to move in quickly as they have to be out of their property in 2 weeks. Because my house isn't quite ready for sale yet, i.e.still full of furniture etc, they have asked about renting until teh sale goes through and will store their own stuff in the interim.

I heard that she was fired from her job and have no way of contactimg her otherwise. I dont know what I can do legally on California. All of her stuff is still in her room. Any help would be so appreciated. If you know who I can contact or anything. Thanks!

I have bad experiences renting to relatives because they tend to take advantages of me. If they don't pay you late fees and rent, it's very uneasy to ask them because they will take it personally. They will spread their words like disease to other relatives. If you don't confront with them, you need the money to pay your mortgage and water bill too. Which one would you choose? reputation or money?

My husband and I have moved out-of-state and having been trying to rent our home. We hired a rental agency to show the unit and to take care of the lease paperork. Twice now they found someone who wanted to rent our property. Both times the day that the renters were moving in, the next door neighbor has gone over there (it's a townhouse) and wanted to know why they were peeping into his windows. He got really angry and told them that they better keep the kids quiet or he would come over and make them shut up permanently. Needless to say, they were worried about the guy being crazy and backed out of the lease. Now, the rental agency has said that they can't help us due to potential liability. What can I do about this? It is a brand new neighborhood with well off homeowners and a strict HOA. I had contacted the HOA and got all of the rules for renting. These people had over 720 credit scores and no background issues. HOA says they won't do anything.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Ok, I got an apartment..things were great..bad luck set in. I needed to move back closer to family. I talked to the lease agent & she made me give a 60 day notice & I had to pay rent for the 60 days the apartment was still considered mine which was over a 2 month period & I also had to pay $1900 up front...Well..thats what I was doing until they (apartment complex people) did something stupid&cuz of them doin this my check that i payed them with bounced..got that all solved but they were going to charge me an extra $200 on top of rent.Im not made of money & my bank didnt even charge me that much for a bounced check & it was their fault that that happened (that ones a long story, dont focuz on the wrong part) So I got all my stuff out&just left. I plan on payin &everything but I cant pay all the money at once. I was gonna pay $50-$150 a month (depending on my finances)until the debt was paid off. what can they do to me cuz im not payin all up front? Any good advice would b appreciated

When I got divorced 5 years, my ex-wife got our house and I filed a quick claim deed. Now I have a lien against me which I am trying to resolve and she is trying to sell the house I quick claimed to her. She is stating that she can not sell it because I personally have a lien against me. The lien is not on the property but the title can not be transfered by the Title Company. I thought when you quick claimed your name was off the title, so she should not have any problems selling?

OK this would be our families first home, anything that anyone can suggest would be helpful. Anything to look for or be aware of. We are going through Capital One Home they have programs for individuals that don't have perfect credit. They are trying to get us a plan on where they buy the property and we rent for so long with some of the rent going twords the down payment and when we reach the down payment then it becomes a morgage.
So basically our first home will be a fixer upper, only with some miner fixing to do because it will be cheaper. My husband is the ultimate handyman so that's fine. But what I need to know is what to look for in contracts or the housing it self. I don't want to end up getting in debt to buy a house. Anything would be great.

Thanks
