This will be my first time buying a house and I found an affordable house that my girlfriend and I really like but I'm not sure if it is a safe buy. It states that: This property is corporate owned and sold in current condition. No repairs, warranties, disclosures or inspections provided by the seller. Your proof of funds or a prequalification letter must accompany all offers. A special addendum will be made a part of the final contract. Seller reserves the right to negotiate offers in any order regardless of date/time submitted. What does this mean? And would a loan be accepted?

When we moved in there wasn't much landscaping that had been done, so we added 30 6 foot trees. At a point right now where we would like to use our money and time wisely. Need to know the best thing to increase the property value. We have 3 baths 4 bedrooms, all new appliances, unfinished basement.

I hear that there are programs that offer financing for home buying with no credit check. I also hear that you can get business credit without using personal credit.

We don't have a dog sadly she passed away and soon will be signing up for a new house to rent we at the moment we don't have any pets when it say's no pets would this also include no fish or birds as well. I was thinking when the dog died that I was going to buy my son a fish to teach him looking after an animal I also thought it would be fun for him as well. But then this house sold and we had to move to a new house and it say's no pets fish are pets as well but they don't pee and they don't bark or mess up the house like some cats or dogs would. What do you think about this rule. We will still want the house but how far is to far when saying no pets going.

I didn't realize that my 2nd mortgage was not included in the Chpt 13 Bankruptcy filed 3 yrs ago. It was a stupid mistake on my part and I am going through a horrible situation because of it now. I haven't heard from the mortage company since before the bankruptcy, 3 yrs ago, and had no reason not to think the loan ws not included, until out of the blue, I receive a phone call last week, demanding the balance in full. Imagine my surprise! I made a terrible mistake! I would have never let this happend had I realized. Anyway...regardless of that, I am left with a loan, with a major delinquency. It is in default and considered a delinquent mortgage. The loan is 35,000 , originally 27,500. and growing by the minute! I don't know what to do! I don't have the money anywhere, we are trying to rebuild credit, there are no alternatives for me that I can see. Can someone help me? Im so confused and absolutely scared to death. My 1st mortgage is in perfect standing. I welcome all comments!

I live in Ontario Canada, I moved out of my previous apartment but did not give the 60 days notice, I gave in my notice on the 9th of the month not the first. Anyway I moved out and now they are taking me to small claims court for the last month I was there. They used my last months rent for the month after I left. I do not believe I should pay for a month when I was not there when they had my last months rent. Should I bother to fight them in court or just make a payment arrangement?

No real estate company was involved. No mortage company was involved. We just signed a contract to buy and had it notarized. So, even though we are still making payments can we rent it out as long as the payment to the seller is made?

Hi,

Question: My brother spent some time in prison for growing pot. 8.5 years to be exact. Before he was incarcerated he "Quit Deeded" his home over to our sister. That was about 12 years ago. My brother has been out for about 4 or 5 years now and she won't give him back his house. She lived there for 8.5 years rent free. He has been maintaining the taxes...

My sister has a gambling problem and has taken out a large mortage on the home. Can she do that without his permission?? When he went to jail there was a 5,000.00 mortage left on the house and now I think there is about 80,000.00 she gambled away.

How can he get his home back....The home is located in MN.

My brother is a great guy and made a mistake, but this is not fair. He is 54 and wants to build a new house on his property and can't because of this problem..

Thanks for any help...

Steve in MI.

We live in Hattiesburg, MS and found a house that has been sitting empty for 2 years and has been badly vandalized. We found the owner in FL but his phone is disconnected. We really want to buy this house but in order to do that, we need to find the owner. We also know the name of the mortgage co. but they will not tell us anything.

I was going to purchase a home from a well known builder and I was going through their preffered lender but I wasn't approved. Now before all the lending process went through I placed a deposit to hold the home and it was going to go towards closing costs. But the builder is saying that they cannot give any portion of my deposit back, because of the time. It's been only 2 months.
