I am trying to look for a home but all the sites I have been to you have to sign up to see the listings. Is there any other sites that you don't have to do this.

I watch Flip this House and am amazed how much these home cost to start with. Like a 1200sqft home will cost 235,000.00. Where I live you can buy homes like the ones they do for around 25,000 to 40,000. I'm from Southeast Kansas

I am buying a home and escrow closes in 3 days. My worry is everyone is telling me that it is not a done deal because the bank will run a credit check one day before escrow closes. My question is i recently asked for a loan to consolidate my bills will this change the banks decision on giving me the loan that i need to purchase my home.

I'm in a situation where my house is currently in escrow. The selling price is less than what I owe on the loan and I don't have the money to pay what I owe. I've allowed the buyer to live in the house in order to allow them to agree to extend the close date while I refinance another property to get the funds. I've already asked for 2 extensions on the close date and the buyers are now threatening to pull out of the deal. The amount that I owe in order to close escrow is the exact amount of the realtor fees. Is there such a form where I could make an agreement with the realtors to pay the fees AFTER escrow closes? That way, the deal can be sealed with the buyers and there will be no more uncertainty as to whether or not the deal will fall through. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Is it better to do upgrades (options) through the builder when purchasing a new home or go with the basic options and do the upgrades yourself later (ie. through Lowe's, Home depot)? Which is cheaper, what do you recommend?

I bought a house back in Jan. and since April I have been in a snowball effect of back luck. At this point, I'm drowning in credit debt and I'm working 2 jobs and BARELY paying the mortgage and utilities. My house is currently up for sale. But, I feel that if it doesn't sell soon, I will be forced into foreclosure or bankruptcy. And I really don't want to go that route if at all possible but, I don't know if I have any other options. If I could get out from under the mortgage payment and utility bills then I could get caught up on everything else. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've been told that the typical utility bill is $150-$300 in my apt. I'm curious if I could save in any way, being that I've never lived on my own. For instance, in the winter, is it cheaper to use a space heater in my room or turn on the heat? Also, I don't leave lights or the TV on when I'm not home. Any advice on how to cut costs? Thanks!

My landlord sold the house before my lease is up. I agreed to move but he will sign papers 2 weeks before the date I move. He says he won't give me my $2,000.00 back until the day I move and return the keys to him & he inspects it. He will not own the house at that point. Is this illegal? I need the money to move and can not wait until that day. Should I get the money the day he signs the bank papers?

I live in Overland Park, Kansas and want to find someone who really understands the reals estate market in my neighbood. I think finding someone who is selling homes within the last few months will probably be a good indicator of this knowledge. How do I find out which agency or agents are selling homes as the listing agent? Is there a website with this information.

I am a first time buyer. My middle score is a 594 and my debt to income ratio is about 9%.

I have a good income (over 6,000) a month and not alot of bills. Although my income is good my credit scores arent that high.

I am looking to put a downpayment down of about 30,000, but will I still get screwed on interest rates because of my credit score eventhough my income is good.

And would a VA loan be the best way for me to go?

I am looking to buy in GA

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and my mom and I have lived together in the same home since 1979. At first my mom paid most of the bills. For the last few years we have paid for everything. We are probably going to sell in about 6 months and I need to know 2 things. One: do we have to show a 50 50 split on our government report? Two: Mom is looking at HUD housing and with the (supposed) profit from selling the house and the small social security and pension she collects, she would be about $200 too high to qualify for Hud housing. Since my husband has been paying all of the mortgage payment and bills for several years (even though the names on the title are mine and my mom's), does she have to show an increase in her tiny income?

The attorney is suppose to be taking a tenant to court for me. The attorney hired a process server, but 3 court dates have been missed as the tenant has yet to be served. The attorney told me I was in the wrong for feeling that 3 missed court dates was an issue. This has been going on since March '06. The attorney will not return my calls. I don't have enough money to hire a new attorney, and don't know what I can do to get this guy to do what he's been paid for; plus he will get 50% of all monies collected. (which I'm sorry that's highway robbery!) But I need to know if there is anything I can do to make this attorney get the tenant in court.
