Has anyone ever tried to kick out an unwilling roommate?

Did you have to change the locks and move his stuff out? How did that go down?

I'm trying to kick a rascal out of my apartment and it looks like it's going to get *ugly*.

We're working under Toronto roomate-roomate laws, so it's basically the wild west here.

You may have to choose between taking him to court on an unlawful detainer (i.e., he's staying when you want him out) and moving out yourself. It is worth it to talk it over with the landlord first, because he may agree that if you are not pleased with Mr. Ugly, he'd rather keep you and assist in evicting him. If so, then the sheriff's department will intervene if necessary.

If he is not on the lease (he moved into your apartment, and you have not notified the landlord formally), then the sheriff's department can presumably get him out almost at once. You say you want him out, he's gone. It's your apartment.

If that's all too much for you, how about looking for a different place to rent yourself, and let him stay there. If he can't afford the rent without you, that's his problem.

I had a drunk for a roommate and had to fight him for control of a gun he was going to use on me. I told the police when they cuffed him that if he came back (except to pick up his crap, supervised) he would end up with his tongue hanging out his own butt hole. That did the trick.

dont put any food in the fridge lol hell leave soon enough, change the lock while he is gone, keep his stuff and sell it on ebay lol that way you have money till you find another roommate

she was un willing one nite when we was in bed so I kikked her sorry asss out
