Are you saying that you can't find a recorded discharge?

If so, because the S & L went under, you will need to contact the FDIC as they would have been the successor in interest. They have a special office in Texas that handles these matters.

I have the contact info at work and will be happy to give it to you tomorrow. I'll post it here, so check back.
