...but I read that they don't take back opened games. I just bought it on Friday, and absolutely hate it. I would take a gift card and just buy something there. Doesn't seem fair that I would be stuck with someone I don't like. I have only returned one thing at Wal-Mart, about 10 years ago, so I rarely do it.

Any suggestions?

Hi there i have a very bad credit history and i was wondering if it was possible to be put on my mums credit card as an additional cardholder. Supposedly all my mum does is fills out my details on an application form and i sign it and gets sent away just to add my name onto it. Supposedly it doesnt matter about my credit history as they continue to base this on the conduct of my mums account as she is the actual account holder and she would be responsible if i ran up debt i.e. it would be up to my mum to determine whether or not i am a trustworthy person. I was trying to find any links on google that explain how the additional cardholder works. Someone did say that if my mum was to default with her payments then it would affect me. Let me know what you think.

How to predict credit limit change on credit cards?

I have two credit cards . I never missed payments. Usually I would pay off the balance in full. I am wondering how popular credit card companies increase credit limit. DO they double the limit? I am in Australia

long story but in the end i need to know how to obtain pretty cheap real-legal advise (live in texas). my parents took my old credit cards and racked them up and didn't pay and now i'm being hounded by creditors and my credit, which was perfect, is horrible now. parents are VERY poor already with 6 siblings still living with them and i don't want anything bad to happen to the kids because of my parents' stupid decisions. any ideas? i dont think suing would be the best idea because i'd never get the money since they don't have any.

if my brothers girlfriend applys and gets a credit card in my brothers name (my brother knew about it and gave his consent along with all his personal info) and she defaults on it can he then press charges against her saying she obtained it fraudulently? the card was received in august of this year and she even used it with him with her. i don't believe he has any recourse, but just want to know what everyone else thinks.

I got my paycheck its not big because i dont work many hours because i go to school. My paycheck was 325 deposit i had an overdraft of 110 which i believe is wrong because when i went to pull out $ from the ATM it said i had $ money in their and when i called the bank. When my paycheck got in i called and it said i have $139.19. I dont think thats right 139.19 out 325. They said i had another overdraft from a company taking out my $ and i didnt know so i called and the company gave me back the refund which was was only 7.99 But what do i tell the bank they took out more than half of my money when they shouldnt have. Everytime I call the bank its says i have money even the reciepts from the ATM say i have $. I dont understand how could i have these overdrafts when my reciepts say i have $ and so did the bank. What do i tell them to get at least half of my $ back?

I do not recall having this credit card. I did file a bankrupcy around that time and it is not on the creditors list filed. This credit card is for over 5,000 dollars and I think I would of at that time rememberd to file bankrupcy on it if I even had this card! 16 years later they contact me (NCO financial systems) and the interest is over 13,000 dollars! When I called them, the only proof they had on this chase/assignee of providence mastercard was that a payment of 110.00 was made in July of 1992 and thats all they have. That is not enough proof for me. When I called Chase, there is no such account number. What are my rights? I dont think their going to stop hounding me about this, I received 2 bills, and the interest is increasing!!!

Please help,
Kim

I have survived Christmas. Phew!
But now I have looked at the Credit Card bills, and even though I knew that they were high going in....They debt owing is far greater than I had imagined.

I have goals. Dreams for the future with my family. In order to achieve them, I am going to have to get rid of the debt first.
I have my vehicle on the market to sell. This will pretty much remove I'd say around 80% of the lump.
I am certain that with some smarty-pants ideas & ingenuity, the remaining money can be paid off within a few months.

I am not using the credit cards anymore. only paying towards the balance owing.
I set up an ebay account so I can sell some things i no longer need/use/want.
A budget is being created for effective payment dates, and an allowance every week, etc...

Does anyone have some neat tricks to help me stretch my pennies a little bit more?
I am thinking that if the ebay thing works well, I may make some things and sell them that way, too.
Thanks!
