Once a check expires you can't cash it. But what you can do is contact your summer employer and tell them what happened and they can reissue you a new check. Good luck!

If you deposit it at an ATM I can almost guarantee that it will go through. The bank generally does not care about the expiration date on the check. The person who issued the check just wants to make sure you cash it promptly, because it helps them balance their budget accurately, they don't want to have a lot of unchashed checks floating around.

Sorry, once it has expired - you can NOT cash it. Go to who ever generated the check, give them the expired one and have them generate another one......then, cash it right away.

Go back to the company and ask them how to have the check reissued. Since was a paycheck (not a rebate check), they still owe you the money even if the first check is stale.

The answer plain and simple is !NO!, Exact same thing happened to my mom, plain and simple the check you has is now null and void. Try and go back to where you worked and explain what happened and they should hopefully give you a new check.

the only chance you have of cashing it is going back to your work and asking them to void it and write you a new one. This probably ain't gonna happen. But no bank would ever cash it.
Good luck.

You can try to deposit it, and it may go through. Or they could reject it. Or they could hit you with a charge. Most tellers won't notice it...
