...but I read that they don't take back opened games. I just bought it on Friday, and absolutely hate it. I would take a gift card and just buy something there. Doesn't seem fair that I would be stuck with someone I don't like. I have only returned one thing at Wal-Mart, about 10 years ago, so I rarely do it.

Any suggestions?

I believe that you can exchange a game for a same item if that game is defective.
If it is a popular game, you migth do well to try to sell it on ebay as you can get close to what you paid for it. i dont believe that to be the case if you take it to ebgames or a like styled store.
Maybe in the future you can rent the games first and that way you wont waste another 50 bucks

There's a reason why Walmart doesn't take back open games. Folks would buy one, return it, get another, return that one, etc.

It costs stores money to process returns. Not only employee time and paperwork processing but the returned item usually becomes a loss. Why should Walmart take a loss because you didn't like the game?

Try selling the game like others have suggested.

they simply take complete fee refund for unopened video games, and additionally you get madly cheated in case you turn it in opened. in spite of if the trick i take advantage of when I bump into this situation: you like 3 issues: plastic wrap, a hair dryer, and an opened activity. All you may desire to do is wrap the activity like it did while it got here, and use the drier on it.

There are some video game stores that will buy your used games.

A few include:

EBGames (you can go to ebgames.com to check if there's one near by.)
Gamestop (I think it joined with ebgames though.)

But I'm not sure they pay for your used games :(

I highly doubt they will take it back. What about selling it at a place like Gamestop or slackers?
