I am trying to build my credit for my business. My LLC has no credit right now and I want to build my credit before I apply for any unsecured card as I don't want to risk any bad marks on my business credit file.- My personal one already sucks and I don"t want to hurt this one.

If someone were to foreclose on a home. Would, lets say, credit card companies "take away" some of your credit limit. For example if they initally gave you 10,000 could they change it and give you less since you foreclosed?

includes s/h and asked to delay payment for 90 days. During that 3 months the boots went on sale for $29, even before I got the chance to start making payment on the $113. If you were me would you complain? And who would you complain to, the seller, their sales catalog company (which is a separate entity) or the bank who is doing the billing?

I'm totally new to Chase. Approved for Professional card with a 10K CL. Some says banks see first-purchase as indicator of habit and might affect future limit increases. Please offer some suggestions.

I currently live in Kansas. The statute of limitations for unpaid credit card debt 'open accounts' is 3 years. I lived in Texas and Arizona when the credit cards were opened. How do I determine the statute of limitations for this debt? Is it based on current residency or past residency?

I defaulted on an agreement to make payments to a creditor on behalf of an outstanding medical bil. The creditor took me to court last year and settled an agreement to make payments for the medical bill. I payed off half while employed. I went into default of the agreement since I have been unemployed for the year. They took me back to court and the judge order a judgement against me. I have a retail job working less that 30 hours a week making less that 9 hourly. What are my options?

Looking for a Chase CC that is ideal for balance transfers. Preferably something like 0% for the first year or whatever. I have above average credit but am looking to transfer my holiday spending if you know what I mean, haha.

Thanks

I'm self-employed. I sell on ebay but have a registered business. I've only been doing this for about 4 months. How long do I have to keep making what I'm making before it is considered my regular income?

And does that become a problem in getting a mortgage? How long do I have to keep up my regular income I make now for it to be considered my standard income and does it help showing bank statements etc or does it come down to how long I've been filing taxes, since I have no boss they can speak with? Or does it come down to just showing my income? Will the bank consider it an income that could vary and so I'm worse off for a mortgage or loan?

Yesterday of all days I received a note that I was being summoned to court for a credit card that I had 5 years ago. They are saying I owe them 2,400 plus interest however the card they gave me was only 300.00. I learned my lesson and have been trying to build my credit and now this happens. What do I need to do? I'm looking for a job right now and am on very low income with my husband. We can't afford to settle for the 2,400 and I dont believe we should have to pay that much when it was only 300.00. What do I need to do and what will happen if I don't show up for at court? Are there any pro bono attorneys that might take my case? I am desperate and I know that credit card companys are very mean especially with the interest rate thing. If they charged off the account are they allowed to add interest?

IT IS NOT Free Credit Report.com!! Do not tell me it is because on that website it even says that it is not affiliated with the annual free credit report program. I remember seeing the official website before, but forgot what it is called.

We can't make our December motgage. We can't borrow from anywhere and all our savings are depleted because my spouse has been out of work for most of the year. He's the only person on the loan and we plan to refinance next year, with both of us on the loan. We both have 'good' credit, in the upper 600's. What's our damage? And how will one late payment over two years of the life of the loan affect us?

I pulled up my free annual credit report and noticed a collection agency listed for about $400. I called about it and it is for Time Warner Cable. When I moved out of my old apartment and cancelled service they told me to leave my DVR box with the leasing office and they would pick it up. Well apparently they didnt or did not give me credit for returning it and charged me over $400 for the equipment that I did not return.

Does anyone have experience on this happening before? What are the chances of the credit agency negotiating a settlement for less than $400? Or am I stuck here?

So, I have read some really negative about refinancing... My husband and I can pay our mortgage we just want to roll our credit cards into one low payment. We ended rolling some our credits cards into one low interest cc last year but not all of them. We are not sure what to really do.. is a home equity better? or do we refinance? does this hurt our credit scores? whats the negative and positive sides?
We don't have more than 10k worth of cc debit, we are just sick of paying different interest rates and want to try to save a little $$$.

I would love to hear your opinions and suggestions. :) thanks!

to pay since I haven't been working for over 8 months now. I have explained it to them that I have been unemployed for most of the year but they said the client is very impatient and wants to have a judgement. How does a judgement works and if you cannot pay it because what will happen will I get arrested or what? It seems that now the loans and credit companies are going after everyone now with the credit c risis

Hey guys, help my friend please! About 5 years ago, she was renting an apartment. The owners changed hands and the apartment was bought by a new landlord. Neither of the landlords left a forwarding address to remit rent payment until 1day before the rent was due. The rent was mailed and somehow it got lost in the postal service -according to the landlord. He filed for eviction before introducing himself or sending a late notice. He agreed he filed too hastily and since he had the check in his office, he droped the case. She is looking for a house, and she just came crying to me the lender says the court filing is on her credit. She says it's not on her credit reports so she does not even know where to begin to dispute it. I looked at her credit reports and I do not see anything about a judgement or court either. Where is the lender seeing this information? I don't know what to tell her. Will this affect her credit? If no court ever occured, what can she do to rectify this situation?

i recently forked out some money to pay off ALL credit cards how long before it shows up on the credit report? I would say my credit is pretty shot, but what is the lowest credit score you can have to obtain a home loan?
