includes s/h and asked to delay payment for 90 days. During that 3 months the boots went on sale for $29, even before I got the chance to start making payment on the $113. If you were me would you complain? And who would you complain to, the seller, their sales catalog company (which is a separate entity) or the bank who is doing the billing?

I would complain to whomever you put the order through to so if it was the catalog then call them if it was directly through the company then call them. You could stop the order and call the bank to stop the payment from coming out since you delayed the payment for 90 days then you could re-order the boots on sale...most companies are pretty reasonable to work things out so their customers stay with them so call them and see what happens.

How long after you had the boots did they go on sale? A few days? A couple weeks? A couple months?

The delayed payment arrangement really has nothing to do with it. You got the boots and they allowed you to string out the payments. A couple months later, it's end of season sale.

Just think if you had waited till you saved up the money to pay cash for those boots, they would have gone on sale and you would gotten the boots and had money left.

I would call the company and ask that the price be reduced down on the boots, or cancel the original order and reorder it at the lower cost.

You WERE willing to pay $113 for them when you ordered them. Now you're only willing to pay $29 because they went on sale ? Oh please.

What would you be saying if you bought them for $29 and the vendor increased the price to $113 ? Would you be clamoring at their door to pay the increased price which came into effect AFTER you purchased ?
