Looking for a Chase CC that is ideal for balance transfers. Preferably something like 0% for the first year or whatever. I have above average credit but am looking to transfer my holiday spending if you know what I mean, haha.

Thanks
Chris

Ed or anyone for that matter,

This is very true. I am well aware of their tricks. I don't intend on using this card for everyday purchases until the balance is paid off anyway, thanks.

I've been looking into transferring my balances as well but even if 0% is offered the fine print says they (and others) will charge a 3% fee for transfers.

Check out credit cards at bankrate.com to get a list of cc offers (but they dont tell you about the transfer fees)

Go with the Chase credit card. They have some good programs and I would get the rewards card. Not only will you transfer your balances but you will get reward points for what you transfer and you can then turn those into gift cards...

BEAR ONE THING IN MIND.
All those 0 interest credit cards have one thing in common.
Any charges, after the transfer, will receive no principal payments until the transfer amount is paid in full, whereby, all payments are credited to the transfer, first.
Therefore, all new charges will accumulate interest from day 1, and compounded until the transfer is paid off.
Capisce?
