If you don't use your credit card for the month, does the bill not come!? I swiped the bill from my parents and they haven't said anything...

I agree with many of the other posters in that even if a charge isn't made in a particular month there may be a balance due from the previous months or fees that are due on the account. If there is, the credit card company will send a statement.

My concern is why you would take the statement.
Did you perhaps use their credit without their knowledge and took the statement hoping they won't notice?

If by chance there is an amount due and your parents fail to make the payment or pay late because they don't have the statement to remind them to pay - they will suffer for that for "7 years" until the late notation falls off of their credit reports.

Plus, they may see adverse action from that creditor and also other creditors. The other creditors will see the late notation on their credit reports.
That could cause the other creditors to reduce the credit limits, raise their interest rates or close the accounts.
Having a late notation could also hinder your parents from receiving credit in the future with many creditors.

Do the right thing and give them the statement. If you had used their card without their knowledge it will be better all around to let them know and take responsibility for paying what you charged.

Even if you don't use the card to purchase something, but made some other type of transaction (like a payment, balance transfer, or a carry over balance where a payment is due), you will receive a bill.

Yes, you will always receive a monthly statement even if there was no activity and the balance is 0.

Yes, it would still come. Especially if there was already a balance on the card.

one way or the other, the bill still comes. Either by mail or electronic mail.

Perhaps they have their statements sent paperless through E-mail.
