I just got approved for an Amex Blue card for $6000.00. I transfered a couple of my high interest rate credit cards from my Express Fashion account and mu Household Bank account to my new Amex card to take advantage of the intro 0.00% APR for 12 months to pay them off. The total amount that I transfered to my new Amex account is $1,129. My question is should I close both of other accounts, or just close out my Express account and still keep the Household bank account with the $1,100 credit limit? Please give me advice, on what will have the least negative affect on my credit score

There are many credit card companies that offer 0% interest for up to 12 months. What are the pros and cons?

They called me to confirm my information, they got everything right. They told me that since my credit score is soo low, I would have to give $764.80 as Collateral for a $8,000 loan and my payments will be $191.20 monthly. They said they were going to email me the contract and after I read it and sign it. that the money was going to be in my bank account within 24 hours. Is this real, have u guys heard of them? or is this a SCAM? I really need the money and I do have really bad credit and it seems to get worst, because Im so late on my bill payments. I cant get another job because I already have a FT job and I attend school FT aswell, another job does not fit on my schedule unless its from home. Please HELP!!!

Due to a large IRS collection, I fell so far behind on a vehicle payment I had to let it go. I was told in order to make payments now I have to come up w/ a sizable amount, I am not able to do that, they advised me to try & make a loan, my credit is shot already to make a loan. The bank cleaned out my bank acct. now I'm way behind on other bills as well, I want to repay my debts but if the bank keeps taking my checks, I can't keep up w/ my other bills & It just keeps getting worse. How much of my paycheck can the bank take? I'm done repaying the IRS now & am stuck.. I can't repay other loans as well if the bank takes all my check...Help..

I run a medium sized high street bank and a couple of months ago I found out that I don't have enough deposits to keep it solvent. Ive been busy at home spending last years big bonus so have not got round to sorting this out until now.

Does anyone know where I can loan 5 billion pounds for the next 3 months so all my customers money doesn't go down the pan.

P.S. - Doesn't matter if you can't - the taypayer with probably bail me out!

I am trying to understand why it is that I can check my credit reports once a year for free, but can't access my credit scores with out having to pay for them. This seems illogical to me and wrong, as it is my own private information. Can someone explain to me why this is the case? I find it quite aggravating. BTW- my reports are great, I know I have very good credit, I just want a number!!!

The agency is called gc services and they said they are willing to get rid of my finance charges and late fees if i pay half of the debt i owe. I originally owed them $3000 but they said if i pay 800 now and pay them back the rest within three months that it will clear up the debt owed to citi bank. This is my first time doing something like this so i accepted the deal and i have until two days to pay them the 800 but i got a statement today saying that i will be making the payment for eight hundred and they still have my original balance i owe them the 3000 and no mention of the deal we made on the phone so i got scared and went and took all my money out of the account. Are they trying to screw me?

Do you think it's reasonable to pay extra on your credit card bill each month and then think of that money as still being available if you need it?

My payments were not credited when they received them and not for the amount that the check was written for and then they charged me interest and over limit charge. Then more interest.

the best way to handle this without the judgement going on my credit. Should I go into court with an attorney? Can you tell me how much will it cost? Will the attorney make a difference versus me going in by myself & telling them I lost my job & begging for mercy?

An invoice from Ebay came to me. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do because im new to ebay. It says that my balance is $-5.77. And it says that (No payment due). Does that really mean that no payment is due, And what does it mean if i'm in negative balance? Does that mean that that is the amount that I have to pay, OR does that mean that that's the credit that I have on Ebay?

Cause last month I got an invoice and it said that my balance is $6.50, and it said that $6.50 was due. I paid that money...

So my question is what does negative balance in ebay mean?

please answer thanks

I have a bad mark on my credit report from the phone company from 2004. I did not realize this until I tried for a new bank account and I was denied. I moved out of my place in June 2004 and I cancelled my phone service. Now I find out that I owe $300 so I complained to SBC and they say that they don't even have any record of me cancelling the service. They wouldn't give in so now I am stuck.
I want to buy a house so I am thinking of just taking the loss and paying them the $300 that they erroneously say I owe. By paying this back, will that mark disappear making my credit score better? If by paying SBC back does not erase that bad mark, then I would rather not pay it.

Does anyone have an idea?
