Question is since I am being denied credit because of my bankruptcy is there any way I can get it removed from my credit report at this time? If not how logn will I have to wait to get it removed? Is it 7 years, 10 years, or even longer?

I will never understand why people that obviously do not know what they are talking about answer these questions.

Bankruptcy's show on your credit for 10-years period.

Why don't you try secured credit cards, just be sure never to exceed 30% of your credit limit in any given month and pay them off in full every month before the due date.

After 8-10 months you should be able to get a better card.

Bankruptcy is never removed from your credit history. your credit score might improve after 7 years.

I believe that with Bankruptcy, it can stay on for ten years.

If have income, you should be more credit worthy after bankruptcy than before, since your old debts no longer impact your future income.

It will never fully disappear and most credit applications asked if you've EVER filed for bankruptcy.

Its importance will eventually fade and you'll be able to get some credit again.
