Someone asked me today about gym memberships and the ability to transfer them. I just got off the phone to my gym and they said you can transfer but there's a fee. Does every gym have a fee? What is that fee usually?

If I have 3 major credit cards with pretty high credit limits....if I pay them down and don't buy much on them afterwards, does that lower my current higher credit score? Do credit scores 'get old' or drop after a period of time, due to little or no activity? Or does it just stay the same until something else affects it? Thanks...

Ok so this is a random question- My aunt is getting really pissed off at my cousin (her daughter) for this so I was wondering if it is true or not bc she is known for majorly exageratting. So my aunt put her daughter (my cousin) on her blockbuster account because you have to have a credit card to open one and my cousin didnt have one bc she was only 18. So my cousin checked out movies and forgot to return them on time, like they were super late when she finally did. So my aunt gets a bill in the mail for the amount of the movies bc she has to buy them now and that her block buster acct will be closed bc of this. She claims that by her daughter doing this it could have compeltely ruined her credit score- like by having her blockbuster acct closed and having to pay the $ for the movies it could ruin her credit....I think that sounds crazy but I don't know- is that true? could it really ruin your credit for that to happen?

thank you!!

I am trying to fix my credit but I have a 4000 medical bill that has went to a collection agency on my credit report. The collection agency are very hard people to talk to. I contacted them to fix the situation now they wont leave me alone. They are threathning to sue me and they want me to make a promise to pay over the phone of half or even a thousand to stop the court case. I rather would not even deal with them. I would be willing to pay the hospital. They seem a little more professional. Can I switch back over or should I just pay the collection agency what I can. I believe if I paid the hospital they could forward the money to the agency. How would it be listed on my credit report. ( paying as agreed or something else) Please Help!!

I have not paid one of my credit cards for about a year now. And a collection agency keeps calling me about it. I finally answered and they told me that my debt was around 2,000. I asked them if there was any way they could set up a payment plan that I could afford monthly. But they told me my only option was to pay the 2,000 upfront in court in about a month or so. I do not have that kind of money on me nor do I wish to try and borrow from someone who probably would not lend it to me anyway. If I can't afford to do that, will they sue me and take me to court?
