No. Cracking up at my desk here. You can't get a new SSN because you don't like what is being reported about you under your real SSN.

It is EXTREMELY rare for a Social Security Administration to issue a new SSN to a person, and never in the case where a person simply screwed up one's own credit. Only in the worse cases of identify theft would this even be a thought...but that isn't the impression I'm getting from your question.

You do the crime, you do the time -- in this case, it's suffering from having a bad credit rating.
However, on the good side, I think you get a clean slate after seven years. There are several good books on how to manage your money (I really like Suze Orman's books.) Go to the library and get some! You can build your credit back up again, if you are careful and responsible.
You know what you did wrong, so now you can do it the right way.
Seven years seems like a long time, but if you start now, it *will* pass.

No.
You'd be hard-pressed to get the Social Security Administration (the group who assigns social security numbers) to assign you a new one even in the event that your identity has been stolen (and continues to create an ongoing disaster.)
Why should they give you a new number just because you've made some bad choices? We've all made some bad choices. Learn to deal with it. If you've learned from your mistakes (as opposed to trying to find some overnight solution for them), the situation will resolve itself with time.

NO. It is next to impossible to get a new social security number. Even if you have identity theft you can't get one. About the only way you can get one is to go into the wittness protection program. Do you know where Hoffa's body is ??

What's the difference bad credit or no credit? They both have to be built. Stick with your SSN and work to build a better history. It won't happen overnight, but it will if you practice good credit habits.

NO, but there is a way out.....Bankruptcy. But none of it will help unless you change your spending habits. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and stop spending money you dont have.
