Both of our names are on the title. On the car registeration it reads xxx and xxx. The problem is we are not together and havent been for awhile, but i have been playing miss nice girl, and letting him keep the car as long as he was making payments. Well i would like a new car now, and the car we both sign for is making my debt to ratio huge. I have asked him to re-finance the car to take the car out of my name. The lien holder says he doesnt have enough credit to do so himself and he would need a co-signer, but he doesnt have one. I would like to take the car back and sell to thrid party to get truck out of my name. He refuses to sign the paperwork. Since he wants to keep the car and has been making payments. Also he doesnt have a license, so the insurance is also in my name only. What are my options?

Does anyone know of a site where my very small business can accept credit cards online......even using a renowned gateway....the funds are 'stored' like a bank......I aply and get a ATM card which I use to get my funds. Very much like Ikobo, epassporte etc but those who pay me dont have to belong to that site. In other words I can accept money from via credit card software/virtual terminal but the funds dont go to my bank. he reason so you all know......the Philippines is not known for having the best security in the world and takes a long time to get the money into an account......even if the customer is a good customer.

Do I still have to make monthly payments?
Also, I am married but my spouse is NOT on the car loan and doesnt even have a license.

Will this end up on my spouses credit as well as mine? (I live in North Carolina)

I have a MasterCard with HSBC. I know they take fraud prevention seriously, but most of the time they just go too far.

I am usually unable to purchase items online, as my card will decline, and now it has started declining in shops too, simply because the purchase is "unauthorised".

They frequently call me to verify that I have made particular purchases, which even though it only takes a few minutes, is odd because they want to verify that I spent £10 in the supermarket?! I could understand it if it was a couple of hundred pounds.

Every few months they decide to cancel my card and issue me a new one as they say that someone has obtained my card details. I then have the inconvenience of being without a card for two weeks, as well as having to go to the bank in person to collect my new card.

I have excellent credit and pay my card off in full every month. I am wondering if I should switch to another bank, or if other banks put their customers through this trouble as well.

i lived in an apartment for less than a month, i moved out but the gas company said i didn't call to have the service turned off. its been 7 years. the gas co. left the gas on for 1.5 years. the people who lived there after me, apparently paid on the bill just enough to keep it on. i don't want the hassle of being a detective, but what can i do to clear this from my credit?

I will soon be applying for a new car loan.
If my wife has better credit than I do should she also apply as a co-borrower? The reason I ask is because I work and my wife doesnt so would they even consider her if she doesnt have any income? Do you think maybe they would consider my income and hers as the same since were married even though she doesnt work?
I'm just thinking we might get a better interest rate by using her credit as a co-borrower since her credit is better than mine.

I owe like $35 000 in credit cards and am unemployed ( my business went **** up)...I have had good credit all my life R1 for the most part some accouts I've had since 1994...

The problem is not the interest, I can afford that somehow, but the minimum payments.

Is there a way I can negotiate with the companies to only pay interest and freeze the card until things get better?

Would that screw my credit as bad as not paying at all?

I purchased a painting at a store that cost about 1200 dollars on Sunday. I paid 15 % (about 250) by credit card and the rest of it by financing. When I made the purchase, they had a 3 month free financing offer. However, my credit was not strong and was not approved for credit. Before I made the purchase, I asked whether if I do NOT get approved for credit, can I get my deposit back. They said "Yes". On Sunday, the banks were closed to process credit. After 3 days later, the called me saying that I got denied for credit. Therefore, I would have to pay the rest by credit or check. I did not have the money to pay the rest by credit. They now said deposit is not refundable.
However, they accidently shipped me the painting (without full payment). After 5 months, accounting caught up with the short change and called me. My question is if I do not pay, can they legally screw my credit (or do something), even if they mess up by shipping me the painting? I even offer to return picture.

on credit card applications they always ask for "household income" .. i dont get it, if they wanted to know MY income, they would ask "what is your income" .. but they dont, they ask what is the income for my household.. are they just retarded and want to know the income of all the people who live in your house and dont care if its not your income or what? im going to apply for a credit card soon, so thats why im asking... is it ok to just put down the income for everyone in my house? what about situations such as if you have a roomate? is there any way they can even verify this or that it could get a person in trouble?

Help! I think I have been duped. I got a credit protector fee about five or six years ago. I was told it would help me if I am disabled, but now I hear I am basically paying them to not give my credit card number away. Please help, I can't believe I have been wasting my money, paying for something they should automatically do for me. Help!

I have a couple of negative items on my credit report that are approx 6 years old, I cannot pay them. I have noticed that one collection agency will "sell" the debt to another agency. Does that affect the dropoff date? Also, do items really Drop off and are gone or do they just not count against you anymore? These credit issues are really ruining my life and everything just keeps getting worse and worse and worse.

I bought an expensive item a month ago from Amazon.com and am disatisfied with it, so I'll be returning it sometime tomorrow. I opened up an Amazon.com credit card so that I could get 30.00 off the item and recently paid 10.00 for the first monthly charge.

When my refund comes for the full amount, will I get a 10.00 credit on my card? If so, would I be able to purchase something from another site and use that credit to pay for it? I'm just not sure how that whole thing works. Any help would be great. Thanks!
