I have about $ 7,000 in credit card debt that I have be unable to pay for about 2 years now. About 4 cards total. All accounts have been written-off but, I still get 10-12 calls a day from the collectors. I have a few questions ? Can the credit card holders try to sue me ..... or will they was some day go away ? Why would you pay something that has been charged off ?

Or does it depend on the specific company's policy of reporting to the credit bureaus? Do some companies allow a window to pay before it's reported and how would I find this out? Lastly, do late payments to not-for-profit organizations get reported such as utility bills etc..? Thanks in advance.

Sometimes you buy some things and you have to show your credit history(I'm not sure), but I think it's going to be really hard to purchase a car, or apartment, If no one knows the source of your money.....does an average American have athe right to not having their source of income known? If not, how do people who get their money through hustling do it....Do they pay cash?....don't they apply for credit cards, or sign checks?...If I sold lemonade across the street, for example, Do I have to pay taxes for my business as a seller?

I understand interest rates, but good grief, that is just outrageous. The mortgage on my house is only 5.75%. This can't be legal.

I have about $7,000 in debt with credit cards and medical bills that are with collection agencies. I have contacted several debt relief groups, but unfortunately they only work with people who have more than $10,000 in debt or they are unable to work with collection agencies.

I live in NH and am in my twenties. My husband of 4 years (we have no children) wrote me a note! and said that he is in love with someone else and wants me to move out of our rented apartment (I could afford to live here on my own for awhile). I'm hoping there are some wise people out there who can help me sort out the financial end (I have an older woman helping me deal with this emotionally). Please, no comments about my husband. Just some sound advice from you folks who are in the know and can help me avoid some pitfalls and protect myself in this area.

Hi,

I received loan offer from "Cash Finance Direct". They told me that I have to call this number 09056753112 (£1,20/min). They also told me that the loan is accepted. I hesitate because all my previous applications to many lenders were rejected.
