Do card holders of cash plus pre paid card always get a text when this is topped up?

I was told no but the website says it does.. if this is the case someone I care about would have lied to me and don't know why..if not then the website is wrong..

I have never had a text message when I top up my cash plus card. I always run the account on line.
One thing I have learned from having a card, is ignore their promise of £5 when you introduce a friend, according to their leaflets both of you would receive a fiver.RUBBISH!!. Trying to contact them on 0870 is a joke.
Apart from that it is handy to have in your wallet.
